Frequently Asked Questions

What age group is my son/daughter in?

Click the red button on this page for the age group your son/daughter should try-out for. *Any 15-year-old male who is in 8th grade will get a waiver to play 14s and will skip 15U in HS and play 16U his 9th-grade year.

What are the costs for playing volleyball at 949?

Costs vary between age group and club vs club lite. Club lite is around $2500 for the season and club is on average about $4000 for the year. Each fee is broken up into payments over the year.

What is the difference between "club" and "club lite"?

Club teams practice 3 days a week and enter all tournaments offered by the southern California region, as well as an end of the season tournament. Club lite practices twice a week and enters organized scrimmages hosted by 949. Club lite is a great way to transition from clinics to a team setting.
