Dru Gerhard
Coach Dru is a local San Clemente native where he graduated and played volleyball. He was awarded Division One All-League for San Clemente and was also a Poseidon Award Finalist for Boys Athletics. Dru has been an avid beach volleyball player for over 30 years where over the course of his career held a AAA rating, competed on the EVP Professional Tour and the AVP qualifying tour.
Dru is involved in our local volleyball community serving as a coach at both Mission Viejo High School and Saint Margaret’s Episcopal School.
Dru obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Long Beach State University and went on to achieve his Teaching Credential/Master’s Degree at National University. He has happily worked as a Physical Education teacher in the Capistrano Unified School District for the last 18 years.
