Riccardo Hernandez
Rick grew up in the San Fernando Valley and played at Santa Monica City college. He was an outside hitter and defensive specialist. Prior to coaching here at 949, Rick coached club at the Pacific Palisades for 13 years where he was a part of many successful teams. Most notable, he won a Gold Medal (17's) and Bronze Medal (18's) there in the open division. At 949, Rick has won a Bronze Medal (17's) in the boys open division.
Over the course of his coaching career, Rick has helped with USA volleyball and coached the SCVA high performance team in Europe.
