Ross Carson
Ross brings with him over 30 years of coaching experience to our program. Over the years, he has been a coach for East Valley Jrs. (AZ), South Bay VBC, SCVC, along with multiple college camps like Arizona State University, University of New Mexico, Texas Tech University and the University of Minnesota.
Ross attended Arizona State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology while also competing on the Men’s Volleyball Team. After his college career, Ross continued to play in AVP qualifiers, CBVA and US OPEN (Open Division and Age Divisions.) He went on to receive his Teaching Credential at Cal State Dominguez Hills and his Masters Degree from Concordia University in Athletic Administration & Coaching. Ross has been teaching Middle School PE for the last 27 years.
Married to Nicole Carson (20 years) and they have a Son Ty who played at 949 13U-18U. Ty currently plays with the Long Beach State Men's Program. Their daughter Bree currently plays club volleyball and has goals to play collegiately like her big brother.
